The Han dynasty began in 206 B.C. when Liu Bang, prince of the Han, defeated the Qin army. The defeat was part of a rebellion that began after the First Emperor's death. We the people were dissatisfied with the tyranny of the Qin leaders and their Legalist form of government. This event effected China because it created a rivalry between us citizens of the Han Dynasty in China and our rulers.

The Great Wall of China
The Great wall was designed and made during the Qin Dynasty sometime between 221 and 206 BCE. The wall was created to stop Mongols from invading and taking over China. Around 300,000 of our men died during the construction and rumor is that they were buried inside the wall itself. The Great wall effected China by giving it a home advantage in war and in battle. It also provided much safety to us citizens living within the wall.
Confucius
Confucius was a young ingenuous philosopher who lived from 551-479 B.C. Confucius had the fantastic theory of Confucianism. The main idea of confucianism is that if the rulers are good and the men and woman of higher power represented good morals, and put the people first instead of themselves, than the people would follow their example and be good as well. When Confucius presented his idea to the government, many rejected it, although after the theory of confucianism was declined there were many people such as myself followed Confucius's writing and used it as a lifestyle choice. Eventually China had a change of heart and made Confucianism the main religion in which they would base their government off of. This changed the whole way China controlled its people all the way to the twentieth-century and it changed the perspective and how we the citizens of China felt toward the government and the people in the power.
